Use this guide for an Android TV or Google TV device with access to Google Play Store and a compatible player.
Choose the right guide
This route is for televisions and streaming devices that run Android TV or Google TV. Menus can differ by manufacturer and software version, so use the closest matching label on your screen.
Numbered setup
From the Android TV or Google TV home screen, open Apps and then Google Play Store. If the store is missing or will not open, update the device and confirm the signed-in Google account before continuing.
Search the normal device store for an IPTV player that accepts the setup format supplied to you. Source guidance includes players such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters where they are available; check the publisher, current listing, and permissions before installing.
Open the installed player and look for an option such as Add playlist, Add user, or Add account. Choose the option whose fields match the information in your IPTVGear message rather than converting values into another format.
Copy or type every supplied value exactly, including the full playlist address where applicable. Remove accidental spaces at the beginning or end, give the profile a private device label, and save once.
Keep the player open while it retrieves channel groups and programme information. The first load can take longer than later refreshes; wait for the progress indicator to finish instead of adding the account repeatedly.
Open one entry, return to the channel or category view, and check that the remote can move between groups and resume playback. This confirms both the account load and basic remote navigation.
Playback checkpoint
Complete a short check before changing player settings or adding the account again.
Confirm that channel or programme categories appear after the first refresh.
Open one entry and allow a short playback test before switching again.
Return to the guide and confirm that Back, directional, and selection controls respond normally.
Common problems
Work through the relevant checks in order. If the problem continues, share the device model, player name, and exact on-screen message with Support without exposing account details.
Compare each field with the supplied message, remove leading or trailing spaces, and check the device date and time. Do not post the values publicly.
Keep the player open for the initial refresh, confirm the device is online, then restart the player once. If it still does not load, contact Support with the device model and the on-screen message, not the credentials.
Test another entry, pause large downloads on the same network, and restart the router and device. Use Ethernet where the device supports it, but do not assume every playback issue has the same cause.
Store listings vary by device, region, and software version. Use only official store options and leave device protections unchanged; ask Support about a current store-listed option or use another supported device guide.
Leave the player open for the first guide refresh. If the loading state does not finish, restart the app and refresh the existing account once instead of creating duplicate profiles.
Restart the app and device, update the player from Google Play Store, and check available storage. If the problem continues, report the exact player and device version to Support.
Device questions
Use a player available through the device’s normal app store that accepts the account format supplied to you. Availability and compatibility can vary by device.
Do not lower the device security or use an unknown download source. Contact Support for a current option or follow the guide for another supported device family.
