Choose the right guide

Who this guide is for

This combined guide is for the Smart TV and set-top box families covered by the supplied setup material. The platforms use different stores, controls, and account methods, so choose your device section rather than applying one path to every television.

Choose a device path

Choose the device family that matches the operating system shown on your television or set-top box.

Device path

Samsung Smart TV

  1. 1

    Open the Samsung Apps area

Press Home or Smart Hub on the remote, open Apps, and use the store search. Menu names can vary by model year.

  2. 2

    Find a compatible player

Choose a store-listed player that accepts the supplied playlist or account format. The source guidance references Smart IPTV where it remains available; confirm the current listing before installing.

  3. 3

    Follow the player’s activation flow

If the player shows a device identifier or MAC address and an official playlist-management page, use only that player’s displayed workflow and the M3U value supplied to you. Keep the identifier private.

  4. 4

    Refresh and test

Restart the player after saving, wait for the list to refresh, then open one entry and return to the category view with the Samsung remote.

Device path

LG webOS TV

  1. 1

    Open LG Content Store

Press Home, open Apps or LG Content Store, and search from the television.

  2. 2

    Install a compatible webOS player

Select a player listed for the webOS version. The source guidance references SS IPTV where available; use the current store listing and its own on-screen instructions.

  3. 3

    Add the supplied playlist

Use the player’s displayed add-playlist flow or official on-screen link, then enter the supplied M3U value carefully without exposing it publicly.

  4. 4

    Update the playlist and test

Run the player’s refresh or update action, wait for categories to load, and test one entry with the LG remote.

Device path

Apple TV

  1. 1

    Open the tvOS App Store

From the Apple TV home screen, open App Store and use Search with the Siri Remote.

  2. 2

    Choose a compatible player

Install a player that accepts the supplied setup format. Source guidance includes GSE or IPTV Smarters where currently available in the store.

  3. 3

    Add the account or playlist

Choose the matching add-user or remote-playlist option, enter the supplied information, and save one private profile.

  4. 4

    Load, test, and navigate

Allow categories to load, test one entry, and confirm normal Siri Remote navigation. AirPlay can be tested separately only when both devices and the player support it.

Device path

MAG-style set-top box

  1. 1

    Record the device identifier privately

Open System Information and note the device identifier or MAC address requested by the supplied workflow. Do not share it publicly.

  2. 2

    Open the portal settings

Navigate to Settings, System Settings, Servers, and then Portals, or the closest equivalent shown by the device software.

  3. 3

    Enter the supplied portal value

Type only the portal address supplied for the account, give the portal a clear local name, and save the settings.

  4. 4

    Restart the box once

Reboot through the normal device menu, allow the portal to load, and then test navigation and one playback entry.

Playback checkpoint

Test your setup

Complete a short check before changing player settings or adding the account again.

  1. 1

Confirm the player or portal reopens the saved profile after a normal restart.

  2. 2

Wait until categories or programme information have finished loading.

  3. 3

Open one entry and verify that the device remote can return to the guide.

Common problems

Troubleshooting

Work through the relevant checks in order. If the problem continues, share the device model, player name, and exact on-screen message with Support without exposing account details.

The expected player is missing from the store

Store availability varies by model, platform version, and region. Ask Support for an option visible on the specific device rather than using an unknown download site.

The account or playlist is rejected

Confirm that the player accepts the supplied format, recheck every value, and remove accidental spaces. Do not send the credentials in a public message.

Categories do not refresh

Confirm internet access, leave the first refresh open, and restart the player once. For a MAG-style box, also verify that the supplied portal value was entered in the portal field.

Playback pauses or stops

Test another entry, pause other network-heavy activity, restart the television or box, and use Ethernet where the device provides a network port.

The television feels slow

Fully restart the TV, close unused apps, and check free storage where the platform exposes it. Older models can have different app availability and performance.

Casting or AirPlay is not available

The television, mobile device, network, and player must all support the same feature. Use direct playback on the device when that combination is not available.

Device questions

Frequently asked questions

Why are there separate steps for each Smart TV?

Samsung, LG webOS, Apple TV, and MAG-style boxes use different stores, controls, and setup formats. Follow only the section matching your device.

What if my model is not covered here?

Do not assume that a similar-looking menu uses the same process. Contact Support with the manufacturer, model, and software platform to check the current setup path.
